Frequently Asked Questions

What makes Pet Allies different from traditional training?

Pet Allies focuses on understanding the root causes of behavior issues and improving emotional wellbeing through structured, science-based treatment plans. Unlike traditional obedience-focused training, the program emphasizes daily support, adaptive guidance, and long-term behavioral health for your pet.

Does Pet Allies use humane training methods?

Yes. Pet Allies follows force-free, positive reinforcement-based practices grounded in modern behavior science. The program avoids punishment-based or aversive methods and focuses on long-term emotional wellbeing.

How long does behavior modification take?

Everyone begins with a 3-month treatment plan, though you and your pet’s plan could take less or more time based on many factors. Behavior modification takes time, and while many pets show meaningful improvement early, lasting behavioral change and long-term management require consistency and repetition. Pets learn at different speeds, and treatment plans progress at the pace that is right for each individual pet.

What is the daily time commitment?

Most customers spend about 5–15 minutes per day completing activities and check-ins.

Do I have to do something every day?

No.  While consistency is best and even doing a short training exercise each day helps achieve your goal with your pet, sometimes other things take priority or there just isn’t time.  That’s okay.  Do what fits best into your schedule and you’ll be making progress.

Missing a day is normal and completely fine. Your treatment plan only progresses when you report completing activities, so you cannot fall behind. The program moves with you and adapts to your pace.

If you need to miss an extended period of training days, let an expert know through Expert Chat and we can pause your treatment plan and notifications.
